A night off..

Today me and Helena went early from work and took the metro to Ginza for some dinner. The restaurants are really lined up and it didn’t take long until we found a really nice place. We had some okonomiyaki, yakisoba and some other spicy shrimp probably with a funny name (I tend to write a lot about food, don’t I… hmm..). It's really nice that you normally order a couple of dishes that you share so you get to taste a lot of different things. We also had some umeshu which is a really tasty plum liqueur. Tastes a bit like pommac, but better. Everything was, as always, really delicious! We sat at a table overlooking the chiefs. It’s quite common that you do that here. Your clothes always smell like food when you come home. The most surprising thing was that the chief sneezed several times over the food!! Our food unfortunately… If I get a cold at least I know why… Very untypical Japanese to spread your germs like that..

After dinner we went to have some tea at the top floor of a skyscraper. We sat by the window on the 42d floor overlooking the lights of this amazing city.

The sakura have now started to drop their petals. Quite sad actually, but nothing lasts forever. The Japanese will have buzy days sweeping the streets from now on.
